Sheikh Emad Abu Alrub, president of the Ukrainian-Arab Business Council, a public organization, arrived in the Ternopil region and announced the possibility of investing in the agribusiness of the region, the press service of the Ternopil Regional State Administration said.

The Arab sheikh said that Ukraine has great potential in various fields and promised to do everything possible to profitably represent the country among other countries of the world and attract investors. Today, Saudi Arabia plans to support investment in the agriculture of the three countries. And Ukraine is one of them.

Therefore, the Arab side is looking for possible common ground for cooperation and is interested in implementing joint projects, he stressed.

For information, the main partners of the Ternopil region among foreign countries are Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iran, Egypt and Qatar. Now the producers of the region are busy increasing the volume of exports, in particular, oilseeds and grain crops, as well as frozen veal and beef with a Halal certificate.

Recall that the public organization “Ukrainian-Arab Business Council” was created in 2016 to facilitate the investment process by the Arab countries. According to Emad Abu Alruba, most of the rulers of the Middle East countries are interested in investing in the production capacities of Ukraine, but they fear corruption and non-transparency of Ukrainian legislation. They show more confidence in public organizations, one of which was the “Ukrainian-Arab Business Council”.
