The Starokonstantinovsky Sugar Plant in the Khmelnitsky region is working on the introduction of new technologies to increase the efficiency of production processes. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise on its official page on the social network Facebook.

So, the company decided to abandon the previous method of hydrotransport of raw materials, since it has many disadvantages. In particular, the utilization rate of equipment remains low, and product losses are high due to sugar entering the conveyor water.

Time requires modernization of the production process. Dry supply of raw materials can significantly reduce the loss of the finished product during the processing of beets. According to this principle, sugar production takes place throughout Europe, but for Ukraine it is still a novelty.

Starokonstantinovsky sugar factory will be the first in the Khmelnitsky region to apply this technology. The new line will be launched during the new sugar season, Dmitry Dankovich, director of Starokonstantinovsahar LLC, shares information.

Currently, construction work is underway on the territory of the plant to create a new workshop and modern conveyors for dry supply of raw materials are being installed.
