Stains from bird droppings on clothes and working textiles are not such a rare story for farm owners with an abundance of feathered wards. And it also happens that wild birds, flying on your linen, which you carefully hung after washing to dry, leave unwitting marks on clean things.
Fortunately, getting rid of traces of bird life on your things is not so difficult. Especially when it comes to a fresh spot. But do not despair, and those who found a trace of bird droppings when he had already managed to dry. Indeed, even in this case, things are subject to salvation and high-quality cleaning.
Of course, you can use the services of a professional dry cleaning service. But there are much more budgetary folk ways to rid their clothes of specific pollution.
Poultry droppings contain nitrogen and phosphorus, which is why spots stain firmly into the fibers of clothing and working textiles.
We offer you just two methods for eliminating bird droppings - in case the track is completely fresh, and if the pollution has already dried up.
"In hot pursuit"
If the stain is fresh, you can eliminate it with a sponge dipped in plain water. It's just important to put a substrate of absorbent material under the stain. Note that you will have to periodically change this backing.
You need to wet and lightly rub the stain until it starts to go away. After that, the processing site is wiped with a clean cloth or paper towel and sprinkled with ... bread crumbs. They will act as absorbent material for moisture residues.
Then we wait until the treated area of the fabric dries slightly, after which we wipe it with a cloth soaked in gasoline. We work with gloves!
Very often traces of bird droppings can be found on linen that you hung after washing to dry in the fresh air.
If after such treatment the stain from bird droppings still remains, wipe it with a solution of acetic acid (five percent concentration).
After that, you will need to rinse the place where the stain was, with warm water and dry.
If the stain still doesn’t come off after that, try removing it with hydrogen peroxide (three percent concentration) or some other bleach that will be safe for the tissue.
Remember to do a test on the back of the fabric just before using bleach.
Old spot
The trouble with spots from bird droppings is that it has a mass of phosphorus and nitrogen in its chemical composition. Therefore, such a composition eats into the fibers of your things very tightly. Therefore, it is better, of course, to act while the tracks are fresh.
But if the stain still managed to dry, you will have to be patient. As well as gasoline and vinegar.
We put the thing stained in the litter on a hard surface and gently begin using a hard brush to scrape off the dirt. Be careful not to spoil the thing!
After processing contaminated areas, do not forget to wash them in warm water at a suitable mode!
After scraping out the litter, rub the place with a gauze swab dipped in gasoline. Do not forget to put an absorbent substrate under the spot area, which will often have to be changed!
After treating with gasoline, wipe the litter mark with a damp sponge, and then with a dry cloth. Sprinkle bread crumbs or dry bran into the processing area.
When the treatment area is dry, look for traces. If left, then rub them with a sponge soaked in a five percent solution of table vinegar.
When the stained place is processed. Wash the item in warm water and dry.
