The company "Ukrainian Medovary" from Drohobych participated in the international competition "Apimondia", where it presented its products. A silver medal was received for the Honey Berry drink from the mead category, and a bronze medal was awarded for the Strength of Spirit mead.

The “mead” drink is a fermented drink without the addition of natural fermentation alcohol; the strength is 14% degrees. It can be made from pure honey, with berries and herbs, explained the representative of this company, Andrei Shuba.

A separate category of “Medacom” is fortified drinks based on honey, but there is more honey in them, they are sticky, infused with various medicinal herbs, their strength was 30%, they are used both independently and as additives to cocktails, they are pleasantly drunk.

In addition, the company produces honey vodka or tinctures on dill, horseradish, bison and galangal.

All recipes are drinks of our own design, some of the old recipes, but most of them are advanced recipes that have lost their former relevance.

“While we are entering the market, our products are presented in the Lviv region, in Lutsk, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Kharkov, and the Dnieper, mainly in the Silpo network. These drinks are becoming increasingly popular, said the mead.
