Apples, which by all indications fall into the sanctions category, were destroyed on the territory of the Kaskad profile landfill.

We are talking about two tons of apples of dubious quality and origin, which were discovered in the sale at the Chernozemye wholesale trading base.

A large batch of apple fruits was discovered by authorized specialists of the regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor in the Voronezh region with the participation of representatives of the regional customs service.

It is reported that immediately after the discovery of two tons of apples that were not supplied with quality certificates, documentation of origin and compliance with phytosanitary requirements, they were withdrawn from sale.

“These apples lay on wooden pallets with Spanish markings, bypassing all sanitary requirements,” say employees of the Voronezh Rosselkhoznadzor. “The packaging consisted of paper boxes without identification marks, labels, etc.”

Where the unidentified apples arrived in the Voronezh Region from and whether they are safe for the health of Russian consumers is unknown. Therefore, in order to protect citizens of the Russian Federation from buying food of dubious quality, apples were crushed at the landfill using specialized equipment under the supervision of authorized specialists.
