Last month, the leaders of Ansie Limited Liability Company won the tender and signed a contract for the long-term operation of two sites on the Crimean Black Sea coast in Laspi Bay.
At the moment, the process of stocking the marine farm, which is located on twenty-five hectares, has already begun on the indicated territory. The main objective of the project organizers and tenants of the Laspi plots is to breed such marine mollusks as mussels and oysters.
According to representatives of "Annecy Bay", it is the Black Sea oysters that are highly valued all over the world. After all, they, unlike the Pacific ones, grow in less salty water, so their taste is more delicate and refined.
Entrepreneurs buy young for growing mussels and oysters in France, and grow in the waters of Sevastopol. When the mollusks reach the age and size that makes them suitable for sale on the food market, producers will send them to different parts of the Russian Federation and the world.
The Ancy Bay administration emphasizes that the potential of such a business is growing every day, since foodies around the world are actively introducing oysters and mussels into their daily diet.
It will not be amiss to note that today about two million oysters, which are classified as delicious, are growing up in cages of a marine farm in Laspi Bay. It will take one and a half, or even two years, for the mollusks to grow to the right size and go on sale.
