According to the owner of the greenhouse Vera Kuzmenko from the city of Kamenka-Dnieper, Zaporizhzhya region, candied fruits can be prepared not only from fruits, but also from vegetables. She successfully implements her bold decisions in life in her native city.

According to Vera Kuzmenko, fresh berries are difficult to sell in a small town. And it’s hard to get to the big market.

The main trade is in the large wholesale market, where residents of nearby villages bring food. But for Vera this luxury is not available, since she does not have a personal transport. So the woman has to figure out how to avoid losses and realize all the fruits and vegetables grown.

Vera Kuzmenko grows apricots, peaches, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and currants on her small plot. Since the site is modest in size so as not to lose crop, she tries to process everything. From fruit and berries, excellent pastille is obtained, as well as candied fruits and raisins.

Candied fruits prevent colds, tonsillitis, and can also be a prophylactic in various inflammatory processes of the respiratory tract.

According to the entrepreneur, candied fruits can be prepared from almost all berries, fruits and even vegetables. She herself has already mastered the production of candied carrots and pumpkins. Carrot treats are even better than pumpkin treats, and there is no smell of carrots at all.

Vera sells her products mainly through the Internet, where she finds new recipes for sweets. But, according to her, very often these recipes miss important points, without which it is impossible to create a culinary masterpiece.

Vera Kuzmenko does not lose optimism and continues her experiments in the field of recipes, because the demand for her products is growing. The most popular were strawberry candied fruits. In second place in demand are vegetable sweets made from pumpkins and carrots, which came as a surprise to the hostess herself.
