For the development of the Gift of Moldova variety, the White Capia variety and the Line 115/60 hybrid were used. They were baptized at the Moldavian Research Institute of Irrigated Agriculture and Vegetable Production and in 1973 entered into the State Register.

- From 1 bush you can get up to 9 fruits, from 1 m² - up to 8 kg. The pulp is moist, not very thick, crunchy, sweet, fragrant, about 0.5 cm thick, in the middle a large number of flat round seeds.
- The fruits ripen about 10 days after planting seedlings in an open area.

- Lighting - not required before the seeds have sprouted; good and uniform after is required. However, direct sunlight should not be allowed.
- Watering - the seeds are planted in moist soil and plucked with polyethylene. When airing, check the soil moisture level. After 4 days, lightly sprinkle the soil. 5 days after germination, you can water it, then water it when the soil dries up about 1 time per week. The soil should not dry out, but the water should not stagnate. Watered with settled water at a temperature of +25 ... + 28 ° С.
- Top dressing - Seedlings need it after a dive, and then after another 2 weeks. If you notice weak growth, you can pour a solution of humate, urea, tea, sprinkle with wood ash. To strengthen the roots, a solution of superphosphate or nitrophosphate is suitable.
- Dive - carried out after the appearance of 2 sheets. 2-3 hours before this, the soil is watered. The prepared soil is laid out in prepared containers, watered with a heated weak solution of potassium permanganate, and dug holes in which the roots fit. In this case, the stems do not immerse more than 5 mm. After transplanting, the soil is lightly pressed down and watered.
- Hardening - when the temperature on the street reaches + 15 ° C, there will be 8 leaves on the plants, and there will be a month left before planting in the garden, seedlings begin to be hardened, that is, taken out to the street. Start from 20-30 minutes and gradually adjust the time to a whole day. Closer to the landing, you can leave it at night.

Before winter, the beds are dug up and fertilized with humus, compost, superphosphate, wood ash. In the spring they are dug again, add potash, nitrogen, phosphate fertilizers.
