By the end of 2019, there will be forty hectares more industrial vineyards in the Republic of Adygea.
Such information was shared with the general public by Vladimir Svezhenets, who heads the Ministry of Agriculture of the region. According to him, due to the characteristic climate in Adygea, local agricultural entrepreneurs were afraid to bet on growing grapes on an industrial scale.
However, not so long ago, in the vicinity of the city of Maykop, the first experimental industrial-type vineyard was laid. The experiment turned out to be very successful, and now Adyghe agrarians intend to break up additional vineyards on twenty hectares in the suburbs of the administrative center of the republic, Maykop.
Another ten hectares will be laid in the foothills of the region. In addition, industrial grape plantations will appear in the Shovgen district of the republic. And also in Koshekhablsky, Giaginsky, Teuchezhsky, etc.
More than eighty-five million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget fund for the needs of winegrowers in the region in 2019. Such data were published in the Ministry of Agriculture.
