To date, the program for compensation of the cost of agricultural machinery received applications for 400 million UAH. There are fears that public funds may not be enough for all the farmers who applied.
Recall that for 6 months of 2019, earlier in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food announced 6 innovations regarding the distribution of state support to farmers.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of July 5, 2019, the agricultural sector received funding for six state programs in the amount of 707.115 million, which is 1 billion 343 thousand less than it should be according to the plan.
As you know, in 2018, out of 6.3 billion allocated by the budget for state support to farmers, about 2 billion remained unused. It is worth recalling that the funds began to be actively used only in the second half of last year. Will the use of state aid be repeated in 2019?
It is noted that while last year, on June 19, only 7 farmers took part in the program for compensating the cost of equipment, now more than 500 farmers have taken advantage of loans. Farmers fear that the funds allocated for the program on technology may not be enough for everyone. This is evidenced by the president of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of Ukraine Mykola Stryzhak himself.
“In general, if we compare the past year and this one, we can say that last year the farmers trod the path, and this year they already went along it. For example, one can note the successful start of bank lending for small businesses, as well as the popular program - lending to Ukrainian-made equipment.
I even have a certain concern that the funds allocated for the program on technology may not be enough, ”says Strizhak.
“People began to actively apply for compensation under various programs. Relevant results for applications will be after July 16, when the results of the first calculations appear, ”says Nikolai Strizhak.
