Employees of the interregional veterinary laboratory of the Primorsky Territory took samples of sausages, widely represented on the shelves of the region and made at the enterprise of the leading Ussuri meat producer, for research.As a result of careful analyzes, laboratory staff found that the amount of antibiotics literally went off scale in the samples presented. The level of sulfamethoxazole in these sausages was determined to be critical.

Note that sulfamethoxazole is widely used in the treatment of infections of the genitourinary organs, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, skin and malaria. In case of an overdose in the human body, it can provoke leukopenia, confusion, abdominal pain, vomiting and headache.
