Heavy rains took place in Ukraine this week. The agricultural producers of the Kherson region are seriously concerned about the excessive rainfall, as the harvest of grain crops will begin in two weeks.
According to the deputy director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andrei Nedelko, the precipitation was local in nature and did not cause much damage to crops.
It is noteworthy that not all agricultural enterprises in the region were affected by heavy rainfall. Some economies of the Kherson region were spared by the elements.
At the same time, other sown areas felt the three-month rainfall (up to 120-130 mm), as well as hail. In general, the number of affected crops of early crops reaches no more than 5%, so there is no reason for panic, says Nedelko.
It is also emphasized that farms affected by the disaster may apply to the Kherson Regional Center of Hydrometeorology with an official request regarding the recording of force majeure circumstances and obtaining the relevant information. You can contact the Kherson TsGM by phone: (0552) 22-61-43, 22-33-15, or the nearest weather station in the region.
To the email address [email protected] [email protected] you need to send an official request in the name of the head of the Kherson TsGM (preferably with photos of damage). After that, the head of the station or another specialist will leave for the place to confirm the information and photographs. According to the results of the visit, the specialist of the Central Computer Museum will generate a certificate of weather conditions.
