Recall that the moratorium on agribusiness audits in Ukraine ceased to operate on December 31, 2018. Now representatives of 20 government agencies can come to visit entrepreneurs. Among them are representatives of the State Labor Services, the State Environmental Inspectorate, the State Fiscal Service, the State Food and Consumer Service, the State Geological Survey and the State Emergency Service.
The state authorities will warn about carrying out scheduled inspections in two weeks. But labor inspectors, fiscals and specialists of the State Food and Beverage Service may make an unexpected visit. The State Food and Beverage Service may make unscheduled inspections on a citizen’s complaint about a violation of food safety.
Specialists of the fiscal service have the right to come by a court decision, in the case of submitting inaccurate data or not reporting, according to the counterparty’s complaint, because of a suspicion of violation of tax legislation.
Labor inspectors can come to check on the complaint of the employee against whom there were violations of labor law, by court decision, due to a report of law enforcement officers about violation of labor law, according to information from employees of the State Statistics Service, the state fiscal service, the Pension Fund, and trade unions.
MP Leonid Kozachenko believes that entrepreneurs will suffer from inspections, and the state will not get much from this. Such checks will have a corruption basis, said the deputy.
