On the eve of March 8, the National Chamber of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Hungarian Association of Florists and Entrepreneurs for Flower Trade, prepared a plan for the flower market. Women's day is one of the days of “flowering”, while the average daily turnover of flower shops increases.
Breeders currently bred more than 50 thousand roses and their hybrids. This flower is the most popular for making bouquets, and also most often all other plants are depicted on the arms.
Unlike many other famous events, Women's Day is usually a “one-day” flower festival, which means that almost everyone buys and gives flowers on March 8, in the last few days before or after.
This year's holiday falls on Sunday, this is an exception, so it is expected that on Friday the day before and next Monday, female colleagues will also be presented with bouquets. Therefore, florists are preparing for sales, which are expected to begin as early as Friday morning.
Of course, the purchase price largely depends on how many women buy flowers, but, according to the experience of florists, each buyer spends at least $ 3.33 on March 8th. The most popular among buyers are plain flowers and small bouquets, as well as spring onion flowers in pots. Small or large bouquets are preferred by customers, especially family members or close friends.
