The dangerous brucellosis virus has infected cattle in the Astrakhan region. Cows in two locations in the region became victims of the disease.
As a result, the regional authorities made an operational decision to establish a quarantine regime in the region. The order to introduce a special regime was signed by Yuri Evteev, who heads the state veterinary inspection of the region and acts as head of the veterinary service of the Astrakhan region.
Based on documents that suggest and permit the introduction of a quarantine regime, a special situation will be applied in the territory of Astrakhan settlements where brucellosis has been raging for 550 days.As a result, farm facilities in the village of Stary Altynzhar turned out to be “conserved”. It is located on the territory of the municipal district "Novinsky Village Council". There are also cattle-breeding farms of the Novoyatsky farm, which can be found in the vast Volodarsky district, which are subordinate to the Kalinin Village Council.
It will not be superfluous to note that for the entire period that is marked as quarantine, meat, milk, dairy products and other agricultural products cannot be exported from the prohibited areas.
