Ukrlandfarming agricultural holding does not plan to increase the number of cattle this year.
This was announced by Deputy General Director of Ukrlendfarming Vasily Loboda.
“On the contrary, it is possible that those enterprises that have demonstrated negative economic results will undergo optimization processes,” he said. “The construction of new livestock complexes is also not expected.”
For information, Ukrlendfarming grows cattle of dairy and meat breeds on 125 farms, taking into account 8 breeding centers and 2 feeding complexes. The company contains the largest number of cattle in Ukraine - more than 40 thousand heads of dairy cattle and about 6 thousand beef cattle.
The company grows grain, produces eggs, milk and meat, processes them into different types of food and transports them to markets for consumption in Ukraine and in more than 40 countries.
The animals that are kept on the farms of the agricultural holding eat the latest feed products that the company produces on its own. Farms utilize production waste and train farmers in the use of waste as effective fertilizers for the land.
