Lviv company "First Organic nursery", which specializes in the cultivation of marketable raspberries (TM Organic Garden) has expanded the range of products with organic salads. So far, 1 ha has been allotted for green crops, but next year their cultivation area will be expanded 5 times.

This was told by the founder and head of the farm Andrei Kalinyak.

Currently in the range of enterprises: green leaf lettuce, red, Iceberg, Frieze, Romaine. Salads are sown by conveyor, focusing on when it is planned to receive products.

“We already supply products to the supermarkets of Lviv, and it arrives to customers chilled to 4-5 ° C. We have our own cooling chamber and a refrigerated car in which you can cool products directly on the field, ”said Andrei Kalinyak.

According to the entrepreneur, working with retail chains is not easy. But the partners forgive a lot, because the First Organic nursery is the first organic farm in the region that grows salads on an industrial level.

“Partners understand that our products are organic, require special storage conditions and quick sales,” said Andrei Kalinyak.
