Leading experts of Roskontrol conducted a study of chicken stomachs presented on the domestic market, which were made by seven production companies.
In particular, the ventricles of such brands as Troekurovo, Miratorg, Petelinka, Yaroslavl Broiler, First Freshness, Petruha and Mosselprom got to the laboratory staff’s table.
The result of independent studies was impressive: the samples of two brands (Petruha and Yaroslavsky Broiler) were diagnosed with both unpleasant ventricular color and inadequate color, and an expired shelf life.
If we talk about the presence of pathogenic flora, then it can be noted that E. coli was detected in offal of the Mosselprom brand: if the consumer does not thoroughly heat such a product, the ventricles can cause intestinal upset in the body.
Samples of offal of the Yaroslavl broiler trademark showed the worst results: they contained not only antibiotics, but also salmonella and bacteriostatic residues.
As for the other brands, in the case of Miratorg samples, the highest quality and lack of signs of antibiotics and bacteriostats were recorded.
The color, smell and organoleptic characteristics of the Miratorg ventricles, as well as the products of the brands “First Freshness”, “Petelinka”, “Troekurovo” fully complied with the sanitary and veterinary requirements of the Russian Federation.
