2018 was a record year for Kuban gardeners - large-scale territories of new gardens and groves with a total area of 2.3 thousand hectares were laid in the region. The Crimean and Slavic region, as well as the gardens of the Abinsky and Novopokrovsky districts are leading in laying new territories. In these areas, more than two hundred hectares of young garden plantings have appeared.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, today in the region there are about twenty fruit nurseries, the result of which has become more than five million seedlings. These seedlings literally scattered throughout the region and far beyond its borders, becoming part of Russian gardens.
