The deputy head of the regional state administration of the Rivne region Igor Tymoshenko announces the expansion of the sown area of ​​winter crops and other plants. Earlier in the region, one could see many lands that were not used. But now there are simply no such areas in a number of areas.

To date, 1.3 billion UAH has been allocated for the sowing campaign in the region. The first quarter of the year for agriculture cannot be considered indicative, since sowing work is still ongoing, the official said.

Support for agricultural producers has grown quite noticeably since last year. In particular, banks have introduced a system of agrarian receipts, according to which farmers can borrow equipment and funds from the owners at the expense of the future harvest.

At the end of last year, Rivne farmers signed such receipts in the amount of 120 million UAH. Only in the first 3 months of this year, agrarians of the Rivne region signed such agreements worth 190 million UAH.
