The most expensive is pistachio ice cream, made on the basis of a unique Sicilian pistachio. Egyptian or Turkish pistachio practically does not give any taste to the product. But Sicilian gives the ice cream a bright aftertaste. It is in Sicily that the pistachios grow, resistant to cold and preserving the primary taste. An entrepreneur buys Sicilian nuts every 2 years at a price of $ 600 / kg at an international auction. From 1 kg of pistachios, 10 kg of ice cream is obtained.
